Anthropic contracts about $45 billion of compute from Nscale over six years
Anthropic agreed a roughly $45 billion, six-year cloud deal with the British infrastructure company Nscale, renting around 460 megawatts at Nscale's West Virginia data-centre development, reported 26 August. The capacity runs on Nvidia's Vera Rubin systems and is expected to start serving Anthropic's products in late 2027. It follows agreements with AMD, SpaceX, Google and Broadcom over the preceding months.
What it means Capacity contracted in 2026 for late 2027 is what sets model prices and rate limits two years out — the deals are the forward curve on what your inference will cost.
