Cognizant says 30,000 of its people are Claude-trained as it embeds the model across its delivery platforms

Announced 27 July 2026: Cognizant is embedding Claude across Flowsource, Neuro AI Engineering and Neuro IT Ops, putting Claude Code inside its spec-driven development module, and joining Anthropic’s partner network at Global Premier tier with a "Claude-certified" workforce track. Cognizant says more than 30,000 associates have completed Claude training. Its client examples are all vendor-reported: a customer-experience portal built in six months, a contract-intelligence system it credits with up to a 40% cut in review time at above 88% extraction accuracy, and an underwriting risk tool it says saves roughly eight hours per underwriter per week.

What it means The load-bearing number is 30,000 trained staff, not the deployment logos — system integrators are turning model access into a certified-headcount business, which is how enterprise AI actually reaches a mid-market buyer.
