GitHub Copilot moves every plan to token-metered 'AI Credits'

As of June 1, all Copilot plans replaced per-request quotas with monthly AI Credits metered by actual token use (input, output, cached), plus new per-user budget controls and usage-metrics APIs.

What it means Usage-metered agent tooling makes cost track how hard your agents actually work — the same budgeting shift teams hit running their own multi-agent lanes.
