Google DeepMind shows SynthID Bio, a watermark for AI-generated proteins

Google DeepMind introduced SynthID Bio on 30 September 2026, a proof of concept for watermarking AI-generated proteins while preserving their biological function. It extends the company's SynthID provenance work from images and text into biology.
