Diligent starts rolling out Moxi 2.0, shaped by five years of hospital fleet data
Diligent Robotics, now a Serve Robotics company, announced on 17 August 2026 that it has begun rolling Moxi 2.0 out to US health systems. The platform is built on five years of operation across more than 25 hospitals and debuts what Diligent calls a learning flywheel — a proprietary World Model trained on its own fleet’s experience that improves with every deployment. Moxi 2.0 carries roughly ten times the onboard compute and perception processing the company describes as 10 to 15 times faster than the prior generation, which it says means longer operating hours and faster deliveries with no changes to hospital infrastructure. First sites are Endeavor Health Edward Hospital near Chicago, Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Los Angeles and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
What it means The interesting claim is not the robot, it is the flywheel: an operator with a fleet in the field compounds its own deployment data into the next version — the moat any services business should be asking whether it is building.
