Gemini 3.7 Flash lands at $0.75 per million input tokens, with the price doubling in January

Google released Gemini 3.7 Flash on 13 August 2026, three weeks after 3.6 Flash, aimed at software engineering, document-heavy knowledge work and web development. It carries a 1M-token context window, 64k maximum output and a March 2026 knowledge cutoff. Reported benchmarks include FrontierCode 1.1 at 43.6%, up from 34.4%; DeepSWE v1.1 at 65.3%; a WebDev Arena Elo of 1588; AutomationBench at 30.4%; and 97.0% long-context retrieval at 128k. Introductory pricing of $0.75 per million input and $3.75 per million output tokens runs through 31 December 2026, after which it doubles to $1.50 and $7.50. Access is API and enterprise only, with no open weights.

What it means The introductory rate expires on a published date, so any cost model built on $0.75 doubles on 1 January 2027; budget the standard rate, not the promotion. Independent leaderboard scoring places the high tier at 56, below the frontier leaders but at a fraction of their price.
