Holiday Robotics raises $105M for FRIDAY, a wheeled humanoid built to work a full shift

Seoul-based Holiday Robotics announced $105 million in Series A funding on 23 July 2026 for FRIDAY, a semi-humanoid pairing a wheeled base with a dexterous upper body: 64 degrees of freedom, 40 of them in the hands, tactile sensing and force-aware control, 360-degree camera and lidar perception, and hot-swappable batteries for full-shift running. The money goes to research and engineering headcount and manufacturing readiness across Korea and the US, aimed at automotive, semiconductor and logistics work.
