IDC: humanoid robot shipments neared 25,000 in the first half of 2026, with Agibot shipping about 35%

Global humanoid robot shipments approached 25,000 units in the first half of 2026, up 432.1% year on year, according to IDC figures reported on October 2. Agibot ranked first, shipping more than 8,600 humanoid robots, or about 35% of the global total.

What it means This is the first hard volume number for humanoids this year. It shows a market measured in tens of thousands of units, with one Chinese maker holding a third of it.
