Indeed data: advertised pay is rising faster in the most AI-exposed jobs

An Indeed Hiring Lab analysis published on 17 September 2026 finds that advertised salaries in the occupations most exposed to AI, such as software development, data and analytics, marketing and finance, are growing faster than in the least-exposed jobs. The gap has widened notably since 2024, and the premium is large for senior roles, moderate at mid-level and negligible at entry level.
