Anthropic's flagship Claude Fable 5 returned worldwide on July 1 after an 18-day, government-ordered blackout. A June 12 US export-control directive had forced Anthropic to disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 over a cyber-jailbreak concern — the first frontier models ever pulled by government order, and the first brought back.
