OpenAI DevDay 2026: more than 20 launches across GPT-6 Astra, ChatGPT, Codex and the API

OpenAI's recap of its 29 September 2026 DevDay lists more than 20 announcements spanning GPT-6 Astra, ChatGPT, Codex, APIs, security and new builder tools. Ben's Bites reported that the headline launch was Dots, always-on personal agents that run as a persistent GPT-6 Astra chat and hand tasks off to Codex and ChatGPT Work.
