Figma's agent leaves beta and is generally available

Figma's in-product agent became generally available on 6 October 2026, leaving beta with lower latency, better multiplayer performance and better access to Figma context. It also adds new tools to guide how the agent uses design libraries.

What it means Agents that respect a team's design libraries are what make AI-generated design usable in production files, not just mock-ups.
