OpenAI offers academic labs sponsored access to GPT-Rosalind

OpenAI introduced the Rosalind Academic Plan on 15 October 2026. It offers eligible academic labs sponsored access to GPT-Rosalind, along with tools to advance life-sciences research.

What it means Sponsored access lowers the cost barrier for university biology groups to try a domain-specific frontier model.
