NVIDIA's Nemotron 3.5 Super, a 120B open vision-language model, is now runnable in Ollama
Ollama v0.40.5, released on 15 October 2026, adds NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Super, a vision-language model for coding, reasoning, tool use and document understanding. It pairs a 120B-parameter hybrid Mamba-2/Transformer mixture-of-experts backbone, with 12B parameters active per token, with a C-RADIO vision encoder, and supports tool calling, an on/off thinking mode and context up to 1M tokens. A compact sibling, Nemotron 3.5 Bolt, distils Super down to 74B parameters (9B active) to fit a 24 GB NVIDIA GPU. NVIDIA announced the Super VL and Bolt models on its own blog the same day.
What it means A 24 GB-class agentic model with a 1M-token context is a practical option for teams that need to keep agent workloads on their own hardware.
