Ollama adds decision models that return choices and probabilities instead of text

Ollama 0.35.0, released on 29 September 2026, supports decision models through a new /v1/systemone endpoint based on TypeSafe's Jev API. These models return choices, probabilities and scores rather than text, for tasks such as ticket triage, model routing and content classification. Launch models are Nimble from Bespoke Labs and Tev1 from Together AI; Cloudflare's multimodal Clef models followed in 0.35.1 on 2 October.

What it means Cheap, local single-pass classifiers can replace many small LLM calls in an agent, but check the independent evaluations before trusting them for routing.
