NVIDIA Jetson Thor: edge computers to run robot foundation models on-device

NVIDIA introduced the T3000 and T2000 modules, built on its Thor architecture — compact, power-efficient edge computers made to run foundation models directly on general-purpose robots and autonomous machines as they move from research labs toward mass-market deployment.

What it means The on-robot 'brain' is the bottleneck for putting large models into physical machines — running foundation-model inference at the edge is what lets a robot act without a round-trip to the cloud.
