Unitree’s IPO gives the humanoid sector its first public comparable
The Robot Report published an analysis on 19 August 2026 of what Unitree Robotics’ IPO means for the humanoid industry — the first time the sector gets a public-market comparable rather than private marks. The same week the outlet reported Unichem acquiring Loomia to move into humanoid "skin" materials (17 August) and FORT Robotics taking its safety stack public via a SPAC merger (18 August).
What it means Public filings mean the humanoid sector finally has audited unit economics somebody outside the cap table can read — the first real check on the revenue claims the category has been valued on.
